Biography

In January 1998, Haitham received the PhD degree in Accounting from Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies in Romania. In September 1998, he started his professional career as Assistant Professor of Accounting at Sadat Academy for Management Sciences (SAMS) in Egypt. In September 2005, He joined the Royal Commission at Yanbu (RCY) in Saudi Arabia. His current position is Associate Professor of Accounting at Yanbu University College (YUC). His professional interests focus on university teaching, vocational training, financial consultancy, business mentoring, academic research, and translation. During the two academic years (2017-2019), he has been teaching in the MBA program established between Webster University (Athens Campus) and YUC. During the three academic years (2015-2018), he was heading the Accounting Unit at YUC. During the three academic years (2012-2015), He was teaching in the Executive MBA program established between University of Indianapolis (UINDY) and Yanbu Industrial College (YIC). He has been delivering training programs and consultancy services at the Business and Technology Incubator Center (BTIC) at RCY, and Yanbu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YCCI). During the academic year (2012-2013), he worked as ‘Field Supervisor’ in three consultancy projects with the Economic Planning Department at RCY. He is Editorial Board Member in: the Macrotheme Review in France, the ELK’s International Journal of Finance in India, and the Journal of Finance and Accounting Research (JFAR) in Pakistan. He is Peer Reviewer in China-USA Business Review and Chinese Business Review in USA, and Translation Reviewer in Comms Multilingual Company in UK. He published 11 research papers and 4 textbooks. He is honored with 9 certificates of appreciation and excellence from RCY management. He owns and manages a self-employment bureau for training and consultancy services in Cairo, named 'Consultancy Bureau for Accounting and Management' (http://cbamtcr.wixsite.com/cbam).
